It's always an honor shooting for other creatives that understand some of the intricacies of your craft. Amanda & Chris are just that, uber creative. Chris is insanely busy with his own projects & also finds some time to work with his cousin Sophia Coppola, director of one of my favorite films – Lost in Translation. Amanda is an awesome talent and has designed jeans for Seven For All Mankind. We're shooting their wedding at Chris' uncle, Francis Ford Coppola's Vineyard on Saturday. Our photos were voted to one of the top by over 5,000 people & then selected 1st Place Editors Choice as Best Wedding of the Year in The Knot National’s Real Wedding Awards Competition. Which leads me to think, dang it!... I just need to be shooting more for myself! Which is exactly what this felt like, accept it was Mary & Aaron who thought of the striking traditional Japanese garb & classic suit for their engagement session. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mary & Aaron for blessing me with such amazing subjects! And I have to give a huge shout out to our very good friend; coordinator Michele Buckley of Mint Julep Inc. who hooked us up with this awesome couple. She also hooked up us with the wedding of Teresa Strasser, Adam Carrolla’s Co-Host of The Adam Corolla Shows. Michelle, you rock our world!!!
