Anna and I are privileged to be the Pictage User Group Leaders in Santa Barbara County, which includes photographers visiting from San Luis Obispo to Camarillo. This month Anna & I had the opportunity to invite two fantastic wedding coordinators to network and share with our Pictage group. Zohe of Events of Santa Barbara & Mary Anne Knox of MAK Events are amazing coordinators and definitely enriched our perspective on how to make every event a smash. We had a great time, especially since these are two ladies are a blast to hang out with!
Some images from this wedding shot in paradise, a.k.a. El Careyes, Mexico :) are already on our site. I just got finished editing the entirety of it and wanted to share a few more. The last five shots are of fire dancers Amy and Mike had perform at the end of the reception as a surprise to everyone. You can check out some more fire dancer shots on our site as well. Bon Appetit... I mean... enjoy!
Our web designer, Ryan Malmberg of Finch Designs created some awesome animation for our new site’s home page.
I’m proud to be a winner of PDN’s 2007 Top Knots - New School of Wedding Photography Contest. You can pick up the issue at newsstands now & check out their website via the link below.
Paula and Desmond have a wonderful eye for style and it truly came out in their wedding details.
Anna & I shot this amazing wedding last month in El Careyes, Mexico. We set a slideshow out of the digital images we shot of their wedding day for the reception. Everyone loved it and we were asked by Rob and Michelle if we could do a portrait session the next morning. We were happy to oblige, and honored as Rob is the director for NBC Sports. Stay tuned for the wedding images from this wonderful location!
Anna & I will be speaking at the Pictage Chicago conferance on May 8, 2007. Check it out on the link below.
