Here are a few shots of a wedding we did when the fire was in full blaze and the ash was so thick it was raining from the sky. When we looked toward the mountains I jokingly said (which garnered a few laughs) that it looked like Mordor in the background. Mira & Jeff are a sweetheart couple from Canada that had a destination wedding here in beautiful Santa Barbara. It didn’t look typical “Santa Barbara,” with blue skies and ocean, but the red-orange sky & ultra dark water had a warm mystique and beauty all its own. Also it’s important to note that my dear Anna wasn’t feeling too well this day and our good friend/amazing photographer Ricky Mia volunteered (like the selfless person he is) to come shoot with us this day and help us out.
