New Blog; The Co-Brainchild Has Begun!

OUR BLOG HAS MOVED:  MICHAELANDANNACOSTA.COM/BLOG

Anna & I have worked out the kinks in our blog philosophies and come together to offer the best of what's in both our brains.  Our new combined blog is really the blog Anna has been using all along accept is now highly customized (& still in progress) by the amazing Chris Orwig.  There's a sweet photo of Jack Johnson on the opening of his site.  Definitely check out his gallery "wave riders I, II, & inspiration" for a lesson in consistency of style and the ability to capture ones character.

Chris also co-designed with me & built the first version of michaelandannacosta.com back in 2006.  He's the author of Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom How-Tos: 100 Essential Techniques: here on amazon.com just to name a few, is sponsored by Adobe, nikMultimedia, & Epson, is one of the top instructors at Brooks Institute of Photography, and I just can't say enough good about him!

So all that being said, our blog is no longer fractured and your one stop fix will all be in one convenient stop at:

Taryn + Jeremy = Lots of Laughs, Fun, & Beauty

There was beauty all around at one of my favorite places - the John Paul Getty Museum in LA.  It’s important to note that while you’re not officially allowed to shoot for professional purposes there, the staff lets you get away with it, as long as you’re not being obnoxious or holding up foot traffic.  The obvious other beauty radiated inside and out of our gorgeous couple, Taryn & Jeremy.  While posting these images and looking at this scene, I had to reflect on how blessed we are and how much I love that we do this for a living.

The Good, The Bad, The Spammer

Okay so here’s the sich;  I’m having to approve every individual that wants to join Photo For The People now because of spammers trying to abuse this great recourse of information.  So, while I’m doing this a few minuets ago, thinking about what a waste of time it is, I developed a fairly effective technique at rooting them out.  Basically all you do is copy & paste their email address into a Google search, and if they are a spammer, it’s likely that their email address will pop up on a bunch of random forums with various topics not having to do with each other at all.  Presto, Deleted!!!

On a happier note, join us today on PFTP at 3:00 pm PST for a live Q & A with our friend Jose Villa.  To be a part of the conversation and for us to let you know when all this kind of good stuff is happening, register here, + it's free.  We look forward to hanging out with you soon!
